Hello,

In the data file I received (.wst file), those results are not inside.
Please ask the scorer and/or homologator to send the .wsk file and .wst file of the competition to Marc Raymond <SKIRAYMO@aol.com>, or to post them to iwwfed-ea.org usin this link: http://www.iwwfed-ea.org/page/addcompet.

Scorer should check first if all this results are in the file: the problem might be that those results are missing in original file as well...

Hello,
Calculator created two files.
First file named Kal_.wsk there are competitors in category U14 boys, U17 girls, U21 men, Over 35 and over 45 men.
Then she created second file named Kal_open.Wsk and there is only one category Open men and there are missing results.
If you have not this second file (maybe homologator forgotton send it) I can send you it immidiately.
Thanks for undertanding.
Best regards
Milo

Hello Milo,

Thanks for the pdf, but I do not enter results manually in the ranking list. Otherwise, I would spend the whole summer just doing that !

It would be better to have only one scoring file (wsk) for the whole competition.
However, it can work with 2 files, if they contains the same competition code and the same site code, and if there is no skier registred in both files.
In that case, the scorer should send the 2 wsk and 2 wst files to report the competition to Marc Raymond <SKIRAYMO@aol.com>, and briefly explain why there is 2 files. (and name them 10HUN01A and 10HUN01B for example).
I understand that the scorer have little experience with the software, with the submitting procedure and so on.
This is not a problem, but things have to be done correctly in order to get results in the ranking list.

Hello
I asked calculator why she created two files. She said me that she did not know how calculated competitors which started at two categories, because two competitors started at two disciplines (senior and open, it was according bulletin). Therefore she created two files. Which responsibilities has organizer in this case I don't know.
I send you second file Kal_open.wst in appendix.
Thanks for understanding

Milo

Hello,

If some skiers are in both files, it is a problem.
1) if it is ONE competition, then only 3 rounds can be homologated (and not 6 !).
2) if you run your event as 2 different competitions, on 2 different day, then 2 files are needed,
but with 2 different competition code (10HUN01A, 10HUN01B).
However this 2 competitions must have been registred on the official E&A calendar.

This is not of my responsability to say what you should do.
I will point out to the problem to the E&A technical comitee, and they should answer you directly.

The competition is registered as ONE competition - with multiple age categories.
So there should be one competition file only, with the results within each age category.
The bulletin shows the following categoriesDivisions:
Under 12 Girls 43Km/h Boys 43Km/h,
Under 14 Girls 43Km/h Boys 43Km/h,
Under 17 Girls 46Km/h Boys 46Km/h,
Under 21 Girls 49Km/h Boys 49Km/h,
Open Women 52Km/h Men 55Km/h,
Seniors Women 49Km/h Men 52Km/h,
Seniors II Men 49Km/h,
Seniors III Men 46Km/h,
To be rated three contestants per division are required!
Slalom Ratings:
The best of the three rounds, no finals.

Under these conditions I do not believe they should have allowed skiers to ski in two age categories – they should decide which category and have 3 rounds only.
I believe Candido has worked on this and is amalgamating the files into one file.
I hope this will solve the problem.

I'm sorry that we have this problem. In future I'll have attention for similar situation.
Calculator made over file Kall_.wst and amalgamated two files into one. Competitors which had start at two categories, after the haggling with organizer, left out results from one category.
New file I send under the same cover.
I'm sorry once again.

Milo

Ok, thanks.

I am sure the TC will want to check the results and send the official data to feed the ranking list
